Day 3 Ski Trip Evening

Day 3 – Afternoon and evening


The children were invited to take part in an Easter egg hunt around the village this afternoon. After an exhaustive search they had found a grand total of zero eggs. The organisers took pity on the children and gave them a small bag a sweets for trying hard. Shame faced, we trudged back to hotel after our less than stellar performance

Dinner

Starter – Carrot soup and bread

Main – Lasagne, garlic bread and salad.

Dessert – Pancakes or poached pears

Evening entertainment – The Quiz

I could write all night about the quiz this evening. In the end it was won by a team lead by Jessie with Rosemary, Jessica, Macy and Sarah. However, I think the following quotes will provide you with a flavour of the evening:

The “beret of shame”

Many, many candidates for the beret this evening. However, when you are told to never, ever, ever take off your skis after a fall and then take not one but both skis. The beret was given to Henry who managed to spend ten minutes putting his skis back on after breaking the first rule of falling
