A busy week!
All hands on deck this week for Salterford House School. If you haven't got your tickets for the performances, please see Mrs Parker at the school office. They are selling like hot cakes.
We still require donations for the raffle. There are boxes dotted around school.
Year Six Only
If you go to this page you will find a range of resources for 7- 11 year olds. The one you are looking for is the MARVELLOUS MINIBEASTS- DESIGN A SPECIES. Click on the powerpoint presentation and look at it carefully.
Your task is to design a new species of insect after looking at examples of some existing mini beasts.
Use a double page of your learning log to draw the design. Make sure that the labels you include tell me about the features and why they are useful. Use the powerpoint example as a model for success.
Remember that it is a good idea to try to use the flaps etc on your mini beast design if you can…..
You have until the end of term to create and design your new mini beast……… I wonder which ones will be successful!!!
